Despite the growing social movement around the world, there is a certain irony in having written that on a tree.  It works on many levels, which I really like.  Poster material! :)

Beautiful picture!

I've seen the idea of the quote in the game Mirror's Edge as well, in a sense - it went something like:
"We'll survive; it's what we do."
"Survival is overrated. You've got to live a little, too."

^_^ On the tree, it makes me wonder if the message is supposed to come from the 'viewpoint' of the tree, or that of the assumed writer -- is the tree a prop, or a speaker? But then again, I guess for a plant surviving is just about the extent of living, as far as I can picture it... Anyways, I think the fact that it inspires thought is another strong point of this piece! :)
